Shakespeare Reloaded was initially funded by The Australian Research Council.
The project won funding through the ARC's National Competitive Grants Program, under the Linkage Projects scheme for 2008-10 (proj. num. LP0882082). The aim of the project was to enrich the mutual understanding of teachers and academics about the teaching of Shakespeare at school and university. The idea was to use this shared understanding to improve tertiary-secondary communication flows and ultimately enhance the student learning experience in Literary Studies.
