The Shakespeare Imaginarium is an exciting professional learning course designed to facilitate fresh thinking about Shakespeare and pedagogy.
The aim of the Imaginarium is to provide a shared space in which teachers from different institutions can come together to explore Shakespeare’s plays and new approaches to teaching and learning. It is a professional space, but one that is beyond the regular school system with its demands for compliance, standardisation and measurement.
The Shakespeare Imaginarium is not just a teaching aid. It is a research and teaching experience that invites imaginative thinking, sharing of expert knowledge and educational risk-taking.
To guide us in the Imaginarium we drew up a charter: the Five Principles of Imaginaria.
