Shakespeare FuturEd Conference

Shakespeare FuturEd was an international conference which explored the nexus of Shakespeare Studies and Education, held at the University of Sydney on Friday 1 - Saturday 2 February 2019.

The Shakespeare FuturEd Conference was designed to bring together Shakespeare educators from primary, secondary, tertiary and non-institutional backgrounds (such as theatre companies) to share their knowledge, expertise, reflections and innovations. Speakers and presenters included teachers, practitioners and researchers from across Australia and the globe. All were warmly invited to attend and registration was free because the Conference was funded by the Better Strangers/Shakespeare Reloaded project. The Conference comprised keynote addresses, various panels papers, lightning talks and workshops.

The Conference also provided accredited professional development for attending teachers through NESA.
